Separation Anxiety?

a selfie of my last session.

It's done. After roughly a month of meeting every Satruday for sessions, the first batch of the Creative Voice Artist Program has finished their training. Many of us experience what can be called as separation anxiety, as we don't really want the program to end. However, while the training is done, this is just the beginning of our journey towards being real voice artist.

For the last session, we learned the equipment one must have in order to become a voice artist. A home studio is a must, especially right now in the time of quarantine. Whether you get a project or not, depends on how fast and available you are. Without the proper equipment that won't happen.

For the later part of the session we had a fun activity where we dubbed over an anime clip of Voltes V. Each group participated and had their own takes on the activity. Most of us are new to dubbing making the activity not only fun but informative as well. In a way it is an opportunity to test what we learned up to now.

Armed with the knowledge we learned from Sir Choi, we ought to make the best of what we learned. After all, what's the point of learning if you are not going to apply it. I'm looking forward to working in some projects in the future, along with the rest of my other batchmates.

So its not so much as a goodbye but more of let's get to work now.
