Today is the second day of the Certified Voice Artist Program. It was exhausting but fun. We learned the importance of finding one's niche. A person can only do so much. Its far better to focus on our strengths first, develop it. Though this doesn't mean that we're just going to focus on that. Once we get better, we can spill into other expertise.
I decided to try ADR, and Character Voices. We had an activity later that day where we created four characters using the method taught to us on how to change voices. It was quite a fun activity. Thinking about it, being such an interactive webinar makes all the learning stick as people get to practice what they learn.
Of course just like the first day we were given assignments. We're going to put what we learned to practice. I'm especially excited as we were asked to create five new characters with their own original voices.
Well time to get working on them. I already got an idea on what they will be. I'll introduce them to you guys soon. Look forward to meeting all of them soon.
