Hey it's been awhile since I last wrote. I got a little busy, recording some AVPs that were past due assignments and scouring for a good microphone to use. That's my excuse, but that does not excuse me for not writing about what I recently learned in our last session.
Last Saturday, was the penultimate session. Third saturday in and we were taught about the different acting techniques that voice artists use to help them deliver their lines. The one lesson that struck ot me most is the MOVE - Movement, Orchestrates, Vocal, Expression. In a way something like that should have been common senses. Our body helps us convey our messages as much as our voice. It should not b a surprise to know that using our body can help us delvier our messages better.
Other than, the other lesson was about branding. Branding is an important part of any voice artist's journey. To be seen, to be heard, is to be known. As young and starting voice artists you need to get youself out there. Sir Choi taught us some of the tricks of the trade on how to get our names known. Most important of all is having a good portfolio. Thinking of all the assignments he gave us, that must be the reason behind it; so it can be part of our portfolio.
Tomorrow will be our last session. I'm kinda sad its over, and also happy that I made it through. I'll see you guys soon. Till then take care.
